Shavuot commemorates the giving of the Torah and the 10 commandments at Mount Sinai - when the Jewish nation were born a people. Join us in celebrating in customary style with all things dairy (and non-dairy too for those of us not so lactose-friendly) and with good friends and community. Let's raise our cheesecake slice and l'chaim (toast) to Ancient Traditions meeting Modern Times and the ability to bite into a decadent slice of cheesecake with the knowledge that you're doing an act of good in this world. Children can look forward to special activities including healthy food crafts!
