About the event

When you can't fit your office into the Sukkah, why not bring the Sukkah to your office?

That's exactly what's happening this Sukkot in our Sukkah on 16th St Mall.

Enliven your lunch hour with a gourmet sushi buffet and some quality company as fellow professionals in the downtown business district gather in the Sukkah to celebrate together.

You don't work in the area but want to join too? Individuals and families are welcome to join!

To 'shake it up' a bit, a traditional Lulav and Etrog will be available.

The 'Sukkah' is a traditional greenery-covered hut. The Lulav and Etrog are a traditional 'bouquet' of palm, myrtle, willow and citron fruit that when combined are shaken together to symbolize the unity that the Sukkot festival represents. For the first time, Jewish in the City – Chabad will have a Torah of our very own—a Torah that will be read from week after week, danced with on Simchas Torah, celebrated at Bar Mitzvahs and special occasions, and cherished by our community for generations to come.

This Torah will be dedicated to the holy souls lost on October 7th, transforming their memory into a living legacy of Jewish faith, continuity, and light.

Make this Torah yours—and ours together.

Dedicate a letter, a verse, or a portion, and become part of our community Torah. You are invited to include a dedication and the names of anyone specific you are purchasing them for.

Together, we can bring our Torah home—one letter, one mitzvah, and one partnership at a time.

A Torah is more than a sacred scroll—it is the heart of Jewish life, connecting us to our past, guiding us in the present, and carrying our heritage into the future. You can have a part in it.
